The Score international Baja series will bring 100s of racers who compete around the world and 1000s of spectators. The trophy trucks get the most attention in the race.

This years schedule will take place during the time of the San Felipe Mardi Gras, Awards will be at the Plaza on the Malecon, Sunday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 am.

The race brings many of the off-road racing legends, has enough classes to give teams without the resources of the legends to compete, and is challenging enough that nobody is guaranteed to finish, which creates a comradery that finishing the race is a victory.

The 2013 race saw trophy truck # 21, sponsored by Redbull, The father and son team of Gustavo Vildosola and Gustavo Vildosola Jr won in a field of 250 starters. Vildosola Racing is the first Mexican team in history to ever win a Baja 1000 overall.

Bryce Menzies, trophy truck 70, (Red Bull Menzies Motorsports) came in 4:57 after Vildosola

Rob MacCachren, A two-time San Felipe defending champion and a 2011 inductee in the Off-road Motorsports Hall of Fame, in the No. 11 Rockstar Energy MacCachren Motorsports Ford F-150, came in 3rd.

2013 saw the beginning of a new era with Score International racing, which includes course changes and more media covering the sport.
